Standards & Ethics
The Midwest Association of Professional Disc Jockeys (MAPDJ) is proud of its commitment to creating an industry where Disc Jockeys are respected. One of the core ingredients of such an industry is by adhering to general ethical behavior as well as standards set by MAPDJ.
Standards
Standards are developed by those within an industry to ensure a specific level of consistency and quality. The Disc Jockey industry is relatively still in its infancy and standards are still being formed. MiAPDJ is committed to raising current standards to a level where Disc Jockeys are respected.
MAPDJ has a set of minimum standards for all members including state registration, minimum equipment quality, reference letters, proper booking documents & contracts and ongoing meeting attendance.
Ethics
Ethical behavior is the discipline of a set of moral principles and the core to the success of any business. The Disc Jockey industry is no different and MAPDJ encourages ethical behavior of all its members. Our membership is made up of some of the most ethical disc jockeys in the country.
